CHOIR OFFICER QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES
  1. Must be a member of choir.
  2. Must be an enthusiastic and loyal supporter of the choir and choir director.
  3. Must be an active participant in contests, choir activities and rehearsal.
  4. Must maintain eligibility.
  5. Must demonstrate and promote a supportive attitude of ALL choirs.
  6. Must attend and participate in all officer meetings.
  7. Should assist directors and fellow officers when asked.

PRESIDENT

  1. Qualifications:
    1. Must be in 7th or 8th grade.
    2. Must be a member of the choir.
    3. Must have been a choir officer for 1 year
    4. Must demonstrate leadership abilities.
  2. Duties:
    1. Hold monthly officer meetings.
    2. Promote the choir program to the campus through yearbook, newspaper, attendance, etc….
    3. Organize the design and sale of the choir t-shirt.
    4. Plan choir activities and parties.
    5. Be a liaison with the choir booster club.

VICE-PRESIDENT
  1. Qualifications:
    1. Note the qualifications for all officers.
    2. Must be in 7th or 8th grade.
    3. Must be a member of choir.
  2. Duties:
    1. To assist the president and directors when needed.
    2. To be in charge of publicity, including making and putting up signs, making announcements, writing articles for the newspaper, etc…
    3. Have ongoing communication regarding publicity with the booster club.

REPRESENTATIVES (2 from Colla Voce)
1. Qualifications:
a. Note the qualifications for all officers.
b. Must be a member of choir.
2. Duties:
a. Take notes at all officer meetings.
b. Represent your choir and make decisions in their interest.
c. Report to your choir after each meeting.
