EligibilityThis is a featured page

For many of our performances, a student must be academically eligible. That means passing all classes in accordance with Texas laws (SB 1). The issue of state-mandated eligibility can be very complicated – please refer all questions pertaining to this matter to the director.

Students who are ineligible to perform at UIL functions or any other school functions will be given an alternative assignment to make up the grade for that performance. Don’t be left behind! Ineligible students hurt the team’s success – every singer is crucial for all of our performances!

Mrs. Wright will be carefully checking each singer’s grades throughout the year. Students who are consistently ineligible will not be considered for placement in the top choirs and will not be allowed to attend non-mandatory trips.
